We thank you for your interest in participating as a volunteer for the World Library and Information Congress! You must have a functional knowledge of French and English; knowledge of the other IFLA official languages is an asset. You must also sign a letter of commitment and, if you are employed, you must supply a letter of agreement from your employer (see end of form). Completing this registration form does not necessarily mean that your application will be chosen or that you will be assigned a job for which you showed an interest. The deadline to register is March 1st, 2008. An answer regarding your participation as volunteer will be sent to you in May 2008 at the latest. The volunteers chosen will be invited to follow a one-day training programme, in August 2008, in Québec City or Montréal.
We wish to offer volunteers free access to certain conferences of the congress.
